The Lord Jesus Christ has placed upon our hearts a burden for the people of Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is a small principality landlocked between the countries of Austria and Switzerland. There are currently no Bible-believing churches in the Principality of Liechtenstein, and therefore no gospel witness to the 35,000 people who inhabit the land.
Only a brief view of this small nation would reveal clearly that religion, the Catholic religion in particular, is a great barrier between the people of Liechtenstein and the Saviour Jesus Christ. Our desire is to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Liechtenstein.
Our goals are to glorify Jesus Christ by witnessing to the lost, discipling new converts, and establishing New Testament churches. Please pray for us, and prayerfully consider supporting us financially as we make our way across the world to these unreached people. Thank you, and may God bless you.
Hello, and thank you for your interest in what God is doing through preaching His Word. We are Kyle Joe and Lisa Hicks and have been in the inner city of Detroit most of our lives. Saved as a child, I began working early in the bus ministry under Dr. Bill Pennel and L.E. Traxler, on the route going through the inner city of Detroit. We have seen many who have been consumed by the ravages of drugs, prostitution, alcohol, violence, and homelessness but thank the Lord that in that time we have seen the great joy of the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ that is able to redeem a condemned soul from the gates of Hell, at times, only hours away from death.
The Lord has allowed our unique ministry to continue now for well over 30 years. Originally known as Crossover Ministries and then re-organized in 2002 as Outcry Ministries. My wife Lisa and I have been married for over 15 years now, and though we have no physical children of our own, the Lord has graciously supplied to us of his children, young people that we have been able to encourage and influence for Jesus Christ, some from their infancy. Though the Lord has granted victories, we have also endured losses. We are continually reminded that we labor because Jesus Christ is worthy of those on the streets, NOT because those on the streets are worthy of Jesus Christ.
We are sent out through Word For the World Baptist Ministries in Rossville, Georgia. Our home Church is Prayer Baptist Church, in Westland, Michigan, under Pastor Larry Bartlett. We hold our "Youth Mission" discipleship services on Tuesdays at Springwells Avenue Baptist Church in Detroit, MI, Pastor Kevin Clark and on Thursdays at The Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lincoln Park, with Pastor Ron Leggit. We also are faithful to preach in the open air at many events including: motorcycle rallies, parades, sporting events, etc. and any other places of opportunity around the United States. I am available for meetings, youth preachings, or simply to present the burden that God has placed upon my wife and I for his Glory.
Through out the year we publish a news magazine of events in our ministry as well as a re-cap and accounting of our efforts. As this becomes available it will be posted in downloadable and printable format, or if you wish you may contact me to be added to our mailing list.
Donald Carroll Rogers was born in Flint, Michigan, August 5, 1941, and his wife Elaine (Ludy) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, January 9, 1946. Don was a Certified Public Accountant and Elaine worked as a Cardiovascular Technician in Harper Hospital, Detroit, MI. They were married in Detroit on February 3, 1967, and have 6 children and 17 grandchildren.
Their lives were changed forever when Elaine received Christ on May 2, 1972, and Don shortly after on May 25th. They joined the Prayer Baptist Church in Westland, Michigan, where 8 months later Don was called to preach, and 10 months after that commissioned as a missionary to carry the “Good News” to the country of Mexico.
They sold their home, gave away their possessions and immediately went to language school. Upon graduating from language school they moved to the state of Veracruz, in the country of Mexico, which is located 780 miles south of the Rio Grande River, where they would spend 34 years reaching the Mexican people for Christ. Since they knew how to read the language before they could speak it fluently, they went door-to-door reading the Scriptures and distributing tracts and invited the people to services which they held in their first rented home. After reaching over 50 adults and children and not being able to squeeze another in their home, they built a temporary wooden structure in front of a believer’s house and stayed there until they could purchase their own property. With the help of the people they built a church with over 300 in attendance and began their first Bible Institute, and from there trained national pastors & full-time workers, and ordained men that were called of God and commissioned them to “go and do likewise”. After 12 years in the first church, Don felt led to leave that work to a faithful national pastor and went to another part of town and started the same way again. Only this time an elderly lady gave them the property and asked them to build a church and seminary for the glory of the Lord! Through God’s grace that mission was accomplished and again hundreds of souls were saved and more men trained and sent out.
Together with his family, after planting churches and training over 40 full time national pastors and workers, Don’s labors in Mexico were suddenly interrupted on January 27, 2009, when he suffered a massive stroke that caused blindness, paralysis, and irreparable brain damage. He was miraculously transported in a small 1973 Cessna Crop-Duster (ironically enough the same year they began ministry in Mexico) to the U.S. border, and from there in an ICU Jet to North Carolina where he spent his last days in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Even there he continued to testify of God’s saving grace, and 5 of his care-givers received Christ as their Savior. On June 1, 2010, Don passed into the sweet presence of his Savior whom he loved and served for 38 years. His life verse was: “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9
The Lord has burdened Elaine with the continuation of Don’s vision to train national pastors and workers. She is ministering with her son through LAOM (Latin America Outreach Ministries) as an Administrative Assistant for the Seminario Bautista de Latino America which presently includes 6 Bible Institutes, one of which is NC, and the others in churches in Mexico that are being pastored by nationals that Don trained. She also teaches and ministers to the Hispanic ladies in the Iglesia Baustista Paz of Wilson, NC. As the Lord permits, she will be making 4 trips a year to Mexico to teach ladies’ conferences and encourage the churches. Her life verse is: “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
Brian and Louann Shannon and their family have been serving full time on the Tohono O'Odham Nation in Arizona since 2001. They serve there by pastoring a mission church on the reservation, having Bible clubs for the children, and helping Brian's parents' church as well. Their sending church is Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Monroe, North Carolina (Bobby Leonard, Pastor).
Becky and I were born in southern West Virginia. In 1975 we moved to Union County North Carolina. Pastor Bobby Leonard and the members of Bible Baptist Tabernacle visited our home for six years. God honored Pastor Leonard's faithfulness and burden to see us saved. Thank God he did not give up on us and we were saved after six years. Let me encourage all who read this to never give up on someone as long as they are breathing. Almost immediately God opened doors for us to serve in the church. We had not been saved long when a missionary came to our church. I can remember thinking how good God had been to me, and in my heart saying that I would go anywhere God wanted me to go. A little later God started speaking to our hearts about the Native American people in the western United States. We prayed for assurance that God really wanted us to go to the Indian people. In 1987 we got it settled in our hearts. That year I started Tabernacle Baptist Bible College in Greenville, South Carolina. Upon graduation we started our deputation. God has allowed us to minister on the Tohono O'Odham Reservation for 21 years. We are thankful that God has allowed us to tell Indian people about Jesus and the free gift of salvation all these years. Calvary Baptist Church has supported us since we started deputation and we appreciate their faithful support in prayers and finances.

The Wheelers have been called of the Lord and have been sent out by Calvary Baptist Church, Whitmore Lake, Michigan, to the mission field of America. We have also joined together with Baptist Ambassadors to America (BATA) Missionary Fellowship, under the Leadership of Dr. Ron Hodge, to help plant new churches, strengthen existing churches, and restore struggling churches. As Aaron and Hur set a rock under and “stayed up” the hands of Moses in the day of battle (Ex. 17:12), our calling is to support and stay up the hands of local pastors of Independent Baptist Churches or church plants, as they battle to reach their Jerusalem with the Gospel for Christ. The heart of our ministry is to provoke, teach, and encourage local church members not only to support their pastor, but to become more effective soul winners in order to assist him in keeping the church he is called to pastor healthy, growing, and productive for God’s Kingdom.
